Hotmail & MSN groups

I can access my hotmail site & my MSN groups. I can't send hotmail &
I can post to any of my MSN groups. I have disabled all my extra
softwares as I did find out that Zonealarm can interfer. But nothing
is working.
All my other email sites & newsgroups, no problems.

How long has this been a problem? Have you ever been able to send
e-mail? Are you able to receive e-mail when you can't send?

Just a note from personal experience, Hotmail experiences a lot of time
outs. They just go down, sometimes for a day or two, usually for a few
minutes to a few hours. While others may be able to access, you may not.
I am guessing there are different servers for different accounts or that
some accounts get lost from time to time.

Hi Joseph,

1st, it's not just Hotmail, but any group I've subscribed to on MSN.
All was working then I wld say from maybe Sept. that I had a problem
with being able to "reply" in the group I was in. I noticed some time
later, that all my MSN groups were like that. Recently I tried my
Hotmail & I can get in, compose but nothing happens when I send.

On the groups, when I go to reply, the windows comes up, but won't let
me click in the box for the mssg & I don't get the formatting.

I'm confused! I'm quite good at the pc, but this has got me stunted!
