hotmail deleting mail

i have used hotmail (not outlook) for nearly 10 years and as of the last
year, maybe, messages i keep in my inbox or other folders gets deleted. last
week, it deleted an entire folder. i cannot find an auto archive option, or
anything else suggesting why this is happening. i'm really fed up with
hotmail at this point. anyone having this same experience or have any
suggestions?

Wrong newsgroup. Hotmail is an on-line service. If you have issues with your
account you should contact Windows Live Support.
FWIW; there is no such option or policy which will suddenly delete an entire
folder without notification.
