messages deleted in Outlook 2007 not uploading changes to hotmail

I am using the lastest version of outlook connector and am just installing
office 2007 service pack 2 - however after going through all my emails the
other day and painstakingly deleting over 5000 i cannot get this to sync back
to hotmail.

i have already lost all of these following advice to re-add my office live
(hotmail) account to the outlook connector. this just resynced all of the
messages from hotmail and means all the deleted items are back,

this is driving me nuts! I have tried to find an answer on the web for about
8 hours now and am close to giving up.

any help greatly appreciated,,
