hotmail attachment issues

Hi All

When I click on the attachment in my hotmail message it goes to the download
screen. When I click on download a new window opens up and asks me to log on
to my hotmail account. I log back on and try again and it keeps going to the
same window to log on. Any ideas what is wrong???

It sounds like you have a browser hijacker. I suggest you download the
Mozilla Firefox internet browser from www.mozilla.org. It can display just
about anything Internet Explorer can display, but it has no ActiveX
functionality. This is a good thing. It greatly reduces the chances of
getting a virus. Also, a browser hijacker is much less likely with it. Use
firefox to navigate to hotmail, sign in and try it again. If you really want
to stick with Internet Explorer, download these three spyware removal tools,
all of which come highly recommended:

- Lavasoft Adaware
- (Safer Networking)? Spybot: Search and Destroy (S&D)
- Merlin HiJackThis!
