IE 8 issues.

Greetings. I'm running Windows Media Center with all service packs/ hotfixes/
etc. completely up to date. I've also got the latest virus scan deifinitions
from Norton.

I've been experiencing lots of issues with Internet Explorer lately. When I
hit the Back button it very often goes back two screens instead of just one.
Same for going forward.

The other problem is that if my wife and I both have Hotmail accounts open
in different IE screens, and if:

1) I log in first, and open Hotmail.
2) She logs in, and opens her Hotmail.
3) I refresh my Hotmail, I now see her account.

We really don't do much on the computer outside of web stuff, so I really
don't know how other programs are behaving. I have already removed IE (was
previously version 7), and re-installed version 8, only to find the same
thing. It was only a few months ago that I reformated the hard drive/
re-installed the operating system and programs, so I'm hoping to avoid doing
that again if possible.

Any ideas?

What if you uninstall Internet Explorer 8 and use just Internet Explorer 7?
