hotmail acces

I cannot open hotmail page from Internet Explorer 6. Do
I have to uninstall Internet Explorer 6, then reinstall
it. This is what I was told by a guy that recently fixed
my computer(cleaned up virus damage). Is there an easier
way? It is a very long proccess to uninstall then
reinstall, and I am not very knowledgeable as it pertains
to PC's.
 
as long as your cookies are set to medium/high or lower in
the privacy setting in ie,tools,options,privacy,apply.,you
should be able to access hotmail unless the virus has
screwed up ie.
