Hotfix needed for IPP issue

I found the solution to my issue in KB 884897 - Print features, such as the
watermarks feature, the n-up printing feature, and the collate feature, do
not work if you print to a Novell, to an IPP, or to another partial print
provider in Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003.

The KB article told me to get the hotfix from microsoft support.

Does anyone know where I can download this hotfix? We had it once -
although it didn't work for us on the printer in question. We now have a new
printer with the same issue, and would like to attempt to fix this for our
users. A high-speed printer is pretty useless for large print jobs if you
cannot collate to it!

Yes, from Microsoft Support just like the KB article says. The do not
charge for hotfixes listed in KB articles, they DO, however, want you to get
the hotfix from them so they can keep track on it's use and distribution.
Many hotfixes don't undergo the rigorous testing that general updates
receive; getting hotfixes from them helps them make sure the "cure" isn't
worse than the problem it fixes.

The KB article says to get it from MS support, but they aren't very
forthcoming in the ways it can be arrived at... the site that is linked shows
a lot of contact information, including these forums.

Is there at least an email address to work with instead of telephone? It's
not like I'm not a busy tech who has nothing better to do all day for two
weeks than sit on the phone. That's how long it took me the last time I asked
for the hotfix - and then they apparently sent us the wrong one, as it didn't
fix the issue it was intended to fix. Since my first post, I've revisited
the old hotfix I was sent - it does not match up with the KB article.

Gosh, I've never had that problem! I've gotten a number of these hotfixes
in my time and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. I'm really
sorry your luck with PSS has been so bad. However, I don't know of any
email route, just the telephone.
