Hot Links on an image..Can they remain with image if image moved.

I have a dozen links to go on over 200 pages and the links will change. I thought if I create an image which contains all the links, once they are placed on a page all I would need to do is to give the replacement image the same name and it would appear on all 200 pages instantly.

BUT

The Hot Links don't move with the new image. I have to replace the new link code with the image link.

Is there a way of calling the Hot Link code something like a .js file ?

O if anyone has any Ideas on how this can be done.

TIA

Did you try putting the image and hotspots in a separate file then using an Include Page to include it on your other pages?

Create a page with the image on it and save it, ex: ImagePage.htm Then open a page that you want it to appear on, click the mouse where you want it to go and choose Insert, Web Component, Include Page and browse to that page. Now it's "included" on the page (or pages) and if you need to make a change all you would do is open the one include page, change it and all the other pages will change too.

That's a really cool function, I'm going to be using it quite a bit.

I have over 200 pages that I want the image in question to be placed on.
Other than going through and placing manually , Does FP have an automated function that places an object
in a certain location on the page

It's very useful for common headers, footers, menus etc that you want on all pages. It makes maintenance and changes, especially for larger sites, easier. See some other tips at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/frontpage/HA010429431033.aspx
