"Host 'SMTP' and 'POP3' could not be found" says Outlook Express

Does anyone know how SMTP and POP3 can be found? please
help, I'm clueless (obviously).

Hi,

Check your account settings. From OE, click tools/accounts/mail tab, select
your account then click "properties". Look at the server and advanced tabs.
Compare those against the settings provided by your ISP.

I forgot to add, it might be that the server holding the email might be down
causing the error.
