Outlook Outlook won't send 'smtp' could not be found

My Outlook mailbox keeps giving me this error when I attempt to send an email. How can I correct this and get it to send and recieve?

Thanks for any help.



The host 'smtp' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop3', Server: 'smtp', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Try changing from port 25 to port 587 in your outgoing mail settings.


Sometimes it works. :thumb:
