NSLookup, for all it's warts is ubiquitous on modern
Windows machines (you may have to locate it for Win9x).

Host is not a Windows built-in tool.

William suggests dig and netdig; good advice but they aren't
always available as NSLookup is on WinNT 4+ systems.

What do you wish to accomplish or is this related to a homework
question?

Examples:
nslookup www.learnquick.com
nslookup -q=ns learnquick.com
nslookup -q=mx learnquick.com
