something changes my default homepage. I change it again, but when i reboot, the problem persists. The installed security applications (spybot; systemmechanic4) on my xphome system can not solve the problem

please help

hi,

what you need to do is go to run... the type msconfig...
go to startup on the last tab and un-tick anything
suspicious looking... but dont worry if you un-tick
somthing important... it will just come back when you
reboot... also if you want to go back to the original
startup procedure after you have edited it just go back
to msconfig and under the "general" tab click the normal
startup radial button.

cheers,

scott.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
