Home Page not updating

Hi - Hope you can help
I have changed the content on my home page - www.watermillretreat.co.uk and
republished. When I access the web site on the first hit it brings up the old
screen, then after navigating around the site and I return to the home page
it brings up the new screen. I have renamed Index.htm to index.html and tried
Default.html and republished each time, but still no change. Any ideas?

Perhaps your browser is loading a cached copy of the older version.

Press F5 to refresh the browser (reload the page).

Also empty the temp internet files etc (via your browser options e.g in
I.E. go to Tools > Options or through Windows Disk Cleanup).

Ask your web host what is the first default document (home page) file name for your account, and
then remove all files with default document names from your web.

I see two default home pages: index.html and default.html, both updated
September 21st. You need to check with your host to see which one is
supposed to be the default.

All, Thanks for the help - I obviously have a local problem on my machine. I
have purged all the temp files etc, but still have the problem. I have
accessed the site from my other machine and things are OK. I will contact the
host and have a chat about the default, although I believe it is index.html.
