Hi there,
I have 2 machines on my home network, windows 98 with a shared folder
and one XP home edition, both on a workgroup and using DHCP assigned
addresses from my home router.
For some reason I cannot see my windows 98 machine shared folder from
my XP machine.
Thanks, T

Check your firewall configuration.

Was firewall enabled during network configuration or did you disable it
after just testing to see if that was the issue. Sometimes having the
firewall enabled during the setup to the workgroup it won't fix it until you
try to set up the workgroup again with firewall disabled.
