home networking wizzard

i have a computer that used to have windows me on it now i
upgraded to windows 2000, i am haveing a problem i go into
my network places and double click on "home networking
wizard" and it says program not found and it wants me to
search for it i want to use home networking wizzard but i
cant can anyone help me. i try putting in the windows 2000
cd and try and locate it on there but i still cant. i need

WinME was released AFTER Win2000, so there is no
upgrade path from WinME to Win2000. Your best bet
is to do a clean installation of Win2000.
 
Windows 2000 does not have a home networking wizard, maybe you are talking
about Windows XP?
