Let me list the facts-may be easier
1. Computer
a. Win XP pro with WiF
b. Win98SE with cable connection to router A
c. Win 98 with WiF
d. Win Me with WiF
e. Win XP Home (at times when daughter home
f. Router Wireless AP--D-Link
2. Everything worked and computers talked with each other with Linksys router until a storm hit
3. I replaced the Linksys router with the D-link
4. ****I can connect to internet easily with all computers (via cable provider Comcast) so the hardware is OK***
5. None of computes talk, although the XP pro can see the Win98SE and Win98. I get error message I have no permission to access
6. I have switched protocols, and tried fixed IP numbers. Removed firewalls
7. I have set log ons on each machine to correspond to users on the XP pro
8. Workgoup name is the same for all machines
Thanks for any help to make the computers access one another.

I just connected by enabling NetBios over IP/TCP. It's strange I did not need this before.
