Hi, any help at all with this issue would be much appreciated.
I am attemping to set up a small home network (2 Comps- 1 "Home" WindowsXP
Pro 1.6ghz PC, and 1 "Mobile" WindowsXP Pro dell inspiron laptop). I have a
D-link wireless ADSL router which is RJ-45'd to the main PC which has a NIC.
The laptop uses a Intel Wireless network card and seems to work fine.
Here's the situation:
I have both computers currently connected to the internet. And the Internet
seems to work without any problem. I have used the "set up a home network
wizard" about 20 times, on both computers and still am unable to "see" my
"home" computer from the mobile, nor see itself, but i can see the mobile and
the home from the home computer. I have ping'd both computers, both by using
the IP address and the Name, and it seems to be OK. I have recently read up
on this situation on PChucks website, but am unable to fix the problem.
Below I will List the results from CDiag-run on my laptop:
