Home Networking 200 to XP

I have Windows XP on my main computer.
The laptop that I was issued from work has Windows 2000.
I tried using the home network wizard to set up, but I am
told that XP does not network with 2000.
Is this true?
Anyway around the situation?
 
I have got the same problem as Bob. The problem is not
running XP on a Win2K network, but running a Win2K laptop
on an XP network. Does anyone know about a solution to
this problem?
