Home network with XPHome & Win2K

I have a small home network, with a win2k machine and a couple of XPHome
machines for the kids . My main machine is the win2k machine, which has a
printer attached. I've created a user account on the win2k machine for the
two users who logon to the XPHome machines.
I've created a workgroup "Home", and I can see every machine when browsing
the network in My network Places.
I can print from one XP machine fine but the other one requires me to login
to the win2k machine explicitly, then I can print.. This other machine also
requires me to login to view shared folders on the network.
Any ideas how I can make the second XPHome machine be able to print or view
shared folders on my win2k maxchine without having to login explicitly ?

First, make sure you set up both usernames/passwords on the XP boxes
identically on your W2k computer.

Hi,
I have done that, and have checked by logging onto the win2k machine.
Is the user name on the XP Welcome screen the same as the network login name
?

Hello

Since it is a family LAN, enable the guest account. And edit the Local
Security Policy to enable the network access of Guest users.

No, it is the full name of the user. To see the username go to
Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Users
and groups.
