I have multi computers ona home network throughout my home and what I was
wondering was if anyone could give me some advice on how to set up a messenge
service between each computer on my home network? please email me at

To answer your question, if you have XP (or NT-based operating systems)
on all the computers, enable the Messenger service and use net send.

Start>Run services.msc [enter]

Scroll down to Messenger, enable it and start it.

Then Start>Run cmd [enter]
net send /? [enter] for Help on that command.
