hi,

I just set up a home wireless network with two computers
with xp home installed on the host desktop computer and
windows ME on the client laptop. I have a netgear mr814v2
router. I can access both computers from the other one
but everytime i try to transfer a file (even a very small
one) from the host to the client, the client just freeze.
When i restart the client computer everything is back on
again until i try to transfert a file again. I didn't
have a chance to try it the other way yet (from the
client to the host) but i guess i will get the same
result. Could it be a problem with the router or is it
something else? Can somebody help me please? I thank you
in advance for your help!

That could be a driver problem. Download and install the latest
network card driver programs from the manufacturers' web sites.
