I am trying to network two computers at home, both have XP HOME. The first
computer is working fine - it can see the 'shared' files in its directories
and shared files on the second computer. The problem is that the second
computer cannot gain 'access' to the network. I get an error message
saying that it does not have
permission. It recognizes that there is a network but it cannot gain
access - even to its own shared directories. I turned off Microsoft
Internet Firewall and it solved the problem for the first computer but not
the second. I am using BlackIce and have the same settings on both
computers. Both computers feed into a Netgear router. Any ideas would be
welcomed.
