November 21st, 2010: Nvida today announced it's new range of video cards which as well as surpassing the performance of all current ATI graphics cards, no longer suffers from the heat and noise problems prevalent in the 400 series.
Nvidia assured customers that prices for the new range, codenamed 'Talitha' would be very competitive.

Got a 4MB Graphics Card, cutting edge when bought, worth £100!
Used it to play Theme Hospital on my first pc a 486!![]()
Exactly, As i game under headphones the noise while im playing is a moot point IMO. Though it is louder at load than the ATi 5870 is, but its also a fair bit more powerful.Ian Cunningham said:That's good news on the noise front. As long as it's silent on idle that's the main thing - as you won't notice the fan when gaming anyway.
floppybootstomp said:I must admit I'm amused to see somebody who praised the 5870 so much now start to diss it just because he has the Nvidia heat/noise machine instead at a little under 400 quid
Whatever, enjoy![]()
This is how ATI write drivers ... they may one day, when hell freezes over, actually find a "programmer" who can drive a bus through the eye of a needle.... the ATI drivers at the moment are not good, even worse if your running a crossfire system ...
Something that ATI need to sort out rather quick if you ask me.
