History items

Is it possible to get the History Items back on the main screen for a
business contact? It sucks having to open a business contact, then click on
buttons to get the list of things I've done with this contact.

I was much happier when it was all on the same screen.

While I'm at it, can I remove this business card crap? I don't even want to
look at it on the main screen. It seems useless to me.

Hi Justin,
You can change Business Card View clicking View>Current View and selecting
any other view.

Sorry I was referring to the main screen of the business contact. Why do I
need to look at the business card there? All the info is already on the
screen. What's the point?

I'm seriously tempted to go back to Office 2003. This new BCM was a big step
backwards.

I'll throw a big "amen" to this one. click-open-wait-click-tab-wait-
click-close... In most contact managers, you just pick a tab and
histories are shown on the same screen as the front page of the contact,
no jumping through hoops. Hostory is like a dashboard, or a trajectory of
how the relationship is going with the contact. You need that when you
call or email them, for your message to be in context and on-message. Why
hide histories on some other screen?

The customization of the contact screen is woefully underwhelming for
such a great product. I would realy love this to be addressed as soon as
possible.

Look at any web design handbook on how to design a modern website. Limit
clicks. Dont hide things. Then there's the warnings of how if one website
makes you do 4 clicks for something another makes you do 2, the traffic
of the 1st will drop just because these elemental access logistics.

Why wouldn't all this apply to CRM software design? After all, I at least
spend a heck of a lot more time clicking my contacts, adjusting them,
accessing them, etc., than clicking websites....

Sorry, I have no solution for a problem, but can only confirm that this
really "sucks", especially because of slow loading tabs including History.
In business contact form this newly and "wisely" invented biz card could be
kicked out and replaced by some kind of mini-History list. There's enough
space on screen at any resolution.
In Accounts form it could be easily done as well, though new longer list of
business contacts in account form is advantage, I must admit. Unfortunately
it's impossible to customize which columns to include it this subform list.
