History folder will not empty

When I clear the History folder using the Internet
Options it doesn't work. I can only delete them by
manually right-clicking each website in the folder and
selecting delete. Can anyone offer a solution?

Also when I delete my Temporary Internet files it takes a
few minutes and the internet options then "stops
responding". Can anyone offer a solution here?

You need to create a new history folder and a new cache. Follow the
