Internet Explorer History Folder

I have a problem in deleting the history of my visited
websites. I regularly clear my history of visited
websites but now, there is one website that remains. I
clear my history using Tools: Internet Options: Clear
History. I repeted clearing it but still the website is
still there. I checked the folder but there is no file
for the visited website. How can i delete this?

Jeff,
You probably have a corrupted History folder. Delete the History folder- a
new one will be created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

If that URL returns, you should check for adware, spyware, parasite
programs. (Not a bad idea in any case.)
