Hiper Type R Fitting issues :(

I've just bought a new Hiper Type R and the main ATX power supply connections seem a bit odd.
It's got a 20+4 ATX connector which I presume all go into the 24 slot ATX connector on the motherboard which is a Gigabyte GA-K8VT890-9.

Am I going mad or have I made a mistake in buying it

Your help would be most welcome.
