No matter what I do I cannot change my home page or
default home page. It seems that they have been hijacked
by a search engine without my permission. Help!

you must of gave them permission. or wait a minute it was
microsoft by not shipping your system with proper security
settings alredy set.

spyware, parasite, trojan or a browser hijacker from some web site:
