hiding user profiles

I have successfully created mandatory roaming profiles. The profiles are
located d:\profiles\username. I must share the profile folder (username)
without trying to hide it (username$). I would like to secure my domain as
much as possible. Is there a recommended way of “hiding†or locking the
profiles? I will be using polices, but there may some computers 98 computers
without poledit, and they must not be able to “browse the networkâ€.
Thanks.

You don't need to share the subfolders - and in fact, shouldn't - just the
parent d:\profiles folder. And you can share that as profiles$.
