Profile settings and wallpaper

I have successfully setup up roaming profiles, and mandatory profiles. Users
are receiving the proper desktop Icons, and folders. I am deploying XP
workstations in a 2000/03 domain. I will have multiple users using the same
mandatory profile.

With my profiles I am unsuccessful in “saving the user settingsâ€. This
includes; the same desktop (a BMP file on the local drive), having my doc and
my computer show up on the desktop, and applications like Word 2003 want to
run the install. Deepfreeze will be deployed so this is an issue.

Additional: The first user (test.user) is successful; desktop wallpaper is
correct, My Computer shows up, MS word 2003 does not need to go thru install,
and it is set mandatory and roaming. The first user can go any where in the
domain.
The second user (test.user2), has the same profile path. I can successfully
deploy icon’s to the desktop folder (located on the server), but, desktop
wallpaper does not show up, I have to install MS word again, and I need to
set up My Doc to redirect to \\servername\%username%, which does not work.
