Hide user from GAL ??

How do you hide a user from the Global Address List?

(Win2k3 server AD with Exchange 2000 server, Outlook 2000, single domain)

in ADUC, on the Exchange Advanced tab of the user's properties, there's a
check box to select...

Set msExchHideFromAddressLists=TRUE and clear the attribute
showInAddressBook

Using admod it would be something like (all one line)

admod -b DN_of_Object msExchHideFromAddressLists::TRUE showInAddressBook:-

Thank you, the Advanced tab had not been visible, until I went to the View
Menu...

His question may be how do I hide a user but the end problem may
actually be how do I hide these 2000 users. Since another poster already
gave the GUI response, I indicated how to do it without the GUI.
