i have a ibm t40p, and i over the course of this morning ininstalled norton
internet security upgrade, and some driver upgrades.

now the hide inactive icons is not working.

is there a registry fix for this, or what should i look for? i did a lot of
driver updates, so it will be difficult to figure out what caused it.

thanks,

mark

How do you know it's not working? Right-click the taskbar, click Properties.
Make sure that "Hide inactive icons" is checked, and click the "Customize"
button. Set everything to "Hide when inactive", or if you want to do a test,
choose an icon that you are currently showing, and set it to "Always hide".
Then you can see if it's really working.
