hidden updates

You've asked us not to show you one or more high-priority updates but your
computer might be at risk until they are installed. Restore them now
'I have only hidden msie ver 7 as I prefer ver 6. Is there someway I
can see the ones I have hidden to be sure?'

Hi Grampy Pete,

Visit the Windows Update website:
http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
Click on the Custom button
When the Customize page loads, look at the left sidebar.....under Options,
click on "Restore hidden updates"
Updates that you have opted to hide will be displayed

They will simply be viewable, but you have the option to "Restore and Check
Again" for any of the hidden updates. If you select any of the hidden updates
and click on the Restore and Check Again button, the update(s) will be
restored under its Type (i.e., High Priority, Software, Hardware), checked
and ready for install.

Thank you - I do know about that button but before I click it, will the
hidden sites simply be viewable which I want or will they literally be
restored as in d-loaded and installed?
