Hidden updates?

Steve

Every time I run Windows Update, I get this message:

"You've hidden important updates. You've asked us not to show you one
or more high-priority updates but your computer might be at risk until
they are installed. Restore them now."

Can't find anywhere in settings to change this so updates are no
longer hidden and I don't receive this message. ???

Thanks!

on the left side of the screen there are 'Options' Restore Hidden Updates
is one of them.

Yes, but that option does not appear to be sticky - I have to click it
every time I use Win Update.

okay, try this..I just went to the update site and tried to duplicate your
issue and this is what I found.
Once there, let the update run and when it's done remove the mark next to
all the updates that are listed under that message, then, above that
list/and below the message ( I think that's where it is, ;) ) click on
'Restore and Check again'. I believe what's happening is although you have
selected to restore hidden updates from the left side of that frame, it only
restores them for that session, and if you don't actually install them, the
message remains.
