Hidden Sections MS Word 2007

I have a 32 Chapter document/template. Certain sections are to be hidden.
When I hide (for example) Chapter 1 (using Heading 1 from the Styles menu)
the document hides all Chapters using the Heading 1 Style. PLEASE HELP!

If you want to selectively hide paragraphs, it might be an idea to create a
hidden paragraph style (or styles) to apply to them.
