Hibernate works manually.
All Power schemes changes are rejected.
Tried removing and re-enabling Hibernation from Control Panel options.

Sometimes a dialoque screen says:
" .... Policy changes ... " before rejecting saving of a new Power Scheme
from desktop properties access to Power Options.

www.spywareinfo.com download of "HijackThis" program fails to stop some
programs such as QuickTime autoloading at startup. Program uses VisualBasic6
files.

Novice at all of this controlling.

Restored registry, deleted programs through Control Panel, updated
everything again.
Computer works without the known difficulties for this posting.
