Hibernate doesn't shutdown computer

I recently set my computer to Hibernate after 25 mins. It worked as it should
a couple of times, then things changed. It doesn’t hibernate after 25 mins
anymore. I went back to check my settings in Control Panel- Performance &
Maintenance-Power options-Power Schemes. I have Power Schemes set to “Always
On.†Turn Off Monitor to “After 20mins.†System Hibernate to “After 25
mins." Does anyone have any idea on why my computer doesn’t automatically
turn off after 25 mins?? Thank You

The first thing I would check for is newly installed programs (since
Hibernate stopped working) Most likely some program is forcing the computer
not to run idle or actually disabling Hibernate. Programs like some video
players will stop your computer from going into sleep or hibernate while
running (the benefit is so it doesnt go to sleep or hibernate while watching
a movie or playing music) So you may have to check what is running (possibly
in the background) that may be temporarally disabling hibernate.

hope this helps

Thanks John
I'll keep a watch out for any programs that may be giving me this problem,
but I'm not quite sure I know how to do that.
