Hibernate - VERY SLOW

I have Windows XP professional SP1 with all the high priority security fixes.
I use hibernate all the time. Just this past week, hibernate started taking
7 t0 10 minutes to complete, where as before, it would take less than 90
seconds. The hardrive is running continuously the entire time. Bringing the
system back out of hibernation is as fast as it always has been. Any
suggestions? The only things I have changed in the past week is to install
Money 2005 and about a week ago I installed a Nortel Network Sriver -
IPSECSHM via WIndows Update.

I just had an issue yesterday with a 3 day old pc that went from an 8
second hibernation to about 2 minutes. This occurred immediately after
there was a power failure. All my pc's are on UPS's but the UPS for
that particular pc had a bad battery. I tried deleting the hibernation
file (hidden, in the root) but the problem persisted. I finally did a
restore to the previous day, and all is well. Try restoring to a
previous day when all was well. Then install one app at a time and
check it out.
