Hibernate problem

A couple of times now I've had the situation where I've attempted to
hibernate my machine, it starts the process then goes back to the
desktop display with a system tray popup message stating "Insufficient
system resources exist to complete the API". Hibernate is then not
possible without restarting the machine.

The first time this happened I suspect that a non-repsonsive process was
in the system. Bit more of a mystery the second time.

Cheers, Peter.

Apparently this is a known issue with XP SP1.

A hotfix is available at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;330909.

Alternatively the implication is that SP2 carries the fix too.

I haven't tried this yet but it was intermittent for me.

Cheers, Peter.
