Would anyone know if it is possible to choose which drive hiberfil.sys
can be located on in WindowsXP or is it restricted to C: as with
Windows2000?
Thanks
John

Hi John

If Hibernation is enabled then the hiberfil.sys file can't be moved to another hard disk/partition - neither can it be deleted or renamed.

Thanks Will
I was hoping that there would now be a choice as with pagefile.sys.

It is restricted to C: as it has to be read instantly from the boot
device at boot
