Hi all,
my PC have hibernation on and always goes on hibernation correctly. But
when i power on again, it says something like: the file hiberfil.sys is
damaged, press a key to delete the hibernation information and proceed with
the normal boot.

The PC is:
motherboard ECS KT600-A (VIA) with lan and audio onboard
video Ati Radeon 7000
ram 256 Mb
hard disk 60 GB Samsung and 80 GB Maxtor
Windows XP Pro updated with the SP1 and the patches from Microsoft.

I did some test on hard drives and memory with the UBCD cdrom and deleted
many times the hiberfil.sys file. But... always the same...

Could anyone help me, pls?

Manu :)

Hi

Try turning Hibernation off/on - rebooting in between.
