Dig thru the BIOS setup options to check on ACPI options/settings, and also for advanced power management.
You may as well post back with maker of BIOS & it's revision level & date.
On the hibernation file Hiberfil.sys: If you don't use hibernation, turn that feature off. If you are using it, it's not wise to rename that file.
For the next time Windows runs: Go into Control Panel. Drill down to Power Options (you'll see it on Classic View. Otherwise, in Category view, 1st go to Performance & Maintenance).
In Power Options, click to select the Hibernate Tab. See what setting you have there.
On the Stop error, see Troubleshooting Windows Stop Messages"

Click on A5 at the right-hand frame.
"The cause of this message is always errors in the ACPI BIOS. Usually, nothing can be done at an operating system level to fix the problem. "
