helpctr.exe

Dan

Help and support has stopped functioning on my Windows XP Pro.
helpctr.exe is present and located c:\winnt\pchealth\helpctr\binaries.
However, the help and support service is not running and I cannot start it.
When I try to start the service it returns the following error.

"Could not start the help and support service on local computer"

Error 1058: The service could not be started, either becuase it is disabled,
or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

Any help (no pun intended) would be appreciated.
