HELP!!!!!!!

I downloaded java for windows xp because geocities said
its one of the requirments to run chat 2.0. I downloaded
it and installed it on my windows xp and I restarted my
computer and the desktop icons wont show up. I cant see
my start menu. I can only see my wallpaper. I can bring
up the task manager, but thats it, please help!!

Install the fix, then reboot your computer.
