Hi, after the second time when I install the XP , there is two "window XP" in the menu,
I want to format c:, but was not allowed. so I made a boot disk on disk A, but when
the system boot, It stop at "verifying DMI Pool Data", so I can't boot from A: to format c:,
please help

So let me get this straight.

You boot from the A Drive with a Boot Disk and get stopped at a DMI screen.

I don't trust the boot disk, but you are lucky. If you would have formatted
the C drive, the D drive would no work either.

When Windows XP is installed on a drive other than C, it puts in boot
information on the C drive.

Consider keeping the C drive and formatting the D drive. If XP doesn't work
on C, boot to the XP on D and run XP install. Choose Clean install from the
dropdown and in a page or two, choose Advanced and check mark "Choose
Install Drive on Reboot".

On reboot, install to the C drive.
