When i go to try to shut down my computer, i press the turn off computer
button, but i does not work at all, i have to go and press or shut it
off by hand and have to restart it and wait until the disk check and
when it goes into the log in mode then i shut it down from there, i am
so frustrated. any one help, i cant shut my computer down through xp.

gee nice to know there are people who don't care in this world that
won't help me solve a problem, I ask for help but i don't get a reply,
this really makes me mad. I can't even get a reply from my own

Yeah well try asking the right question the right way. Your a typical dumb
broad flapping her lips and making no sense. Stop bitchin we aint helpin,
cause you aint asking the right way!
First, "turn off button", is that the button/option on the screen or the
button on the case, maybe it's your belly button, who knows!
Second, what system you runnin? XP, 98, 95, I suspect it's 3.11
In short bitch, be a bit more precise so we uncaring lot can help instead of
being insulted. If I was your bro I wouldn't talk to you either! Silly
bitch.

gee nice to know there are people who don't care in this world that

What happens when you try? What specific error messages do you get?
What do your system event logs report? What specific troubleshooting
steps have you already taken, and what were the results of each?

No one can help if you don't provide at least a modicum of information.
