Hello,

Every time I boot up my PC, it brings up the error
message 'hpwinsv2.exe' is unavailable & it hangs for a
couple of minutes (then works ok).

I have tried running defrag, this didn't work. Does
anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!!

David

you've probably deleted this file at some point, or an uninstall didn't
do its job properly, try this:

1. hit start
2; run
3. type msconfig then hit enter
4. under the startup tab look for an entry which contains hpwinsv2.exe
5. if its there uncheck the check box beside and hit ok
6. restart.

If its not there then you should start downloading the stuff Carey refered
to
