When I turn on my computer it goes to the first screen ok, then to the second screen ok but when it gets to the screen that says starting windows and the small little boxes on the bottom are finished it goes to a blue screen for a split second and then it starts all over again, again, again, just like Bill Murry in that movie groundhog day..Is there any way that I can get into windows without installing a new windows2000 nt system.,besides giving it a good kick to help it get over that hump...(which I tried but didn't work).I have a lot of info on the pc and I hope I don't have to loose it...Somebody pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee...

Press F8 when Windows starts and try LastKnownGoodConfiguration mode, then
Safe mode if unsuccessfull.

Remove/disable non-essential hardware. Load System hive on another NT and
disable AutoReboot at HKLM\SYSTEM\CCS\Control\CrashControl, dword
AutoReboot, data 0. If you'd have ERD Commander, you'd edit the registry
directly.
