messed up. How can I go back to the way they were on

You have two options:
a) Wind the clock back to Tuesday, or
b) Try to remember your previous settings, then re-enter them.

Translation of Pegasus' reply : you're stuffed - try to remember !

In future, however, remember, before you change display settings,
that you can save your current settings on the APPEARANCE tab (Save
Scheme). This enables you to recall them if you go wrong !
