yone pleasei have windows xp home edition and i want to install xp
professional but my computer wont load windows infact it wont do nothing its
just a black screen and the numb lock on my keyboard is on and wont go off
help someone an

You cant install xp pro over xp home (or upgrade as it says),thats for older
windows os.With home installed,you need to boot to xp pro cd (enable this in
BIOS,priority boot device,or similiar),then at info screen when cd boots
up,select
install xp,new copy,delete the partition(xp home),create one,then xp will
do a
format on the drive and a clean installation of pro.
